R80 per hour for Normal Mathematics and R70 per hour for Alpha Mathematics. Rates are adjusted on an annual basis.

Preferably by EFT, but cash will be accepted.

The only additional cost is for an initial evaluation. Pupils are evaluated first, before classes are attended. This is to identify the underlying problems in their mathematical foundation.

The Academy has set times for each grade.

Separate classes are presented for Afrikaans and English speaking pupils.

The outcome of tutoring is not only dependent on what and how the Academy presents its learning material, but also on the effort made by the pupils to improve their marks. Past results showed that where pupils made an effort, their marks have improved significantly.

Yes. The cost is per lesson per month, ranging from February to November during an academic year. Tutoring is available during all off-periods.

The time is dependent on marks of the pupils, but ranges between one-and-a-half hours to two hours per week. Additional time requested can be accommodated.

The Alpha Academy only make use of fully qualified personnel. An assessment of their competency is made, before appointment , which is commensurate with the highest standards set by the Academy.

The unique learning methods the Academy uses as well as integration with social platforms to enhance learning outside normal class time. Lessons are presented in a unique way, by using mind-maps, toolboxes, visual and various other methods to accelerate learning.

The Academy is in Centurion and is on a private site (not on any school ground).

There are no pre-requisites. Some of the pupils have marks below the twenties and want to improve their mathematics to obtain a pass mark, while others have marks in the eighties and still want to improve their marks. The Academy makes provision for all such cases.
